Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Copywriter with 3+ years of experience to join our client's creative team. The ideal candidate will have a background in pharmaceutical or healthcare copywriting with the ability to translate complex medical and scientific concepts into clear, compelling copy tailored for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patient audiences. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong storytelling skills, and the ability to adapt writing for various media, including digital, print, and social platforms. The Copywriter will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all messaging is accurate, engaging, and aligned with regulatory and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop and write clear, concise, and compelling copy for a range of materials, including HCP and patient-facing websites, emails, brochures, presentations, social media, and sales aids.
- Medical/Scientific Translation: Translate complex clinical data and healthcare information into easy-to-understand messaging without losing accuracy or impact.
- Collaboration: Work closely with medical, regulatory, and creative teams to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and compliance with industry standards.
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all copy meets regulatory and legal requirements, including compliance with FDA guidelines and pharmaceutical industry standards.
- Multi-channel Content: Adapt copy for various platforms and media, such as digital campaigns, print materials, and social media, ensuring consistency in tone and message.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure all copy aligns with brand messaging, voice, and tone, while maintaining a focus on the target audience (HCPs or patients).
- Revisions and Feedback: Take feedback from clients and internal teams, revising and refining content as needed to meet project goals and deadlines.
- SEO and Content Optimization: Collaborate with digital teams to optimize content for search engines and ensure materials are user-friendly and accessible.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of copywriting experience, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical or healthcare writing.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Technical Writing Skills: Ability to simplify complex medical concepts and translate them into engaging content for both professional and lay audiences.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing, healthcare compliance, and regulations such as FDA guidelines.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to writing, with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including medical, legal, and creative stakeholders.
