Role Summary
- Strategizing and Executing: Implementing the global sales strategy across diverse markets, crafting and executing business plans that achieve both short-term and long-term objectives.
- Driving Performance: Overseeing the performance of the Sales function through a talented regional management team.
- Innovating Sales Processes: Enhancing and refining sales processes to maximize efficiency and impact.
- Leading and Inspiring: Managing and developing direct reports by setting clear performance goals, fostering open communication, and motivating teams to excel.
- Collaborating Across Functions: Working closely with marketing, business development, sales operations, and other key stakeholders to create an environment that accelerates sales growth.
- Ensuring Compliance: Upholding rigorous compliance standards and building trust with customers through robust policies, training, and monitoring systems.
- Key Responsibilities
- Accountability: The Director will oversee the overall performance and results of the Sales function through effective leadership.
- Business Planning: Leading the development of regional and market-specific sales business plans, while advising on pricing, product mix, and brand portfolio policies.
- Strategic Contribution: Contributing to the definition and implementation of the global sales strategy, in close collaboration with the Global Business Development team.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly reviewing and analyzing sales performance, with the agility to adjust strategies as needed to ensure continuous growth.
- Team Development: Mentoring and developing teams by setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and fostering an environment where every member is empowered to contribute at their highest level.
- Change Management: Acting as a proactive change agent to drive successful initiatives and elevate sales operations.
- Collaborative Leadership: Actively participating in the Sales Leadership Team to ensure all sales efforts are aligned with the commitment to exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive Sales Leadership Experience: A proven track record with 10+ years in sales leadership, preferably within a related industry.
- Strategic Vision: Robust business planning and execution skills, coupled with the ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies effectively.
- Exceptional Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing remote and multicultural teams.
- Outstanding Communication: Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in PowerBi, Excel, and other IT systems critical for modern sales operations.
