Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain client relationships, with a continuous focus on growing existing and exploring potential new business, built upon a strong relationship foundation.
- Lead clients in planning and executing annual or short-term marketing projects/programs to ensure client retention and the pursuit of further growth opportunities.
- Strategic account leadership for all assigned clients.
- Manage and coordinate account teams in collaboration with creative and project management leadership.
- Monitor assigned book-of-business client meetings, status, briefing, and internal kick-off meetings while providing oversight and counsel to direct reports and their assigned clients as needed.
- Manage and analyze client results for agency-managed metrics.
- Assumes a steady focus on effective communication both with internal team members and externally with partners and clients.
- Manage direct reports, including their workload, training, and development
The Group Account Supervisorโฆ
- Demonstrates effectiveness in managing multiple clients and account teams
- Must possess a deep and thorough understanding of the pharma/healthcare industry, including new product launches
- Demonstrates success at developing valued relationships with senior-level clients
- Demonstrates success as a strategic partner to clients
Qualifications:
- 4+ years in Medical Communications - Previous experience in healthcare Advertising experience is a must!
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with previous direct-report management experience.
- Strategic and creative mindset.
- Budget management proficiency.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and its effect on agency services and client needs.
- Knowledge and application of medical education disciplines.
