Job Title: Marketing Director - Dental

Summary:
The Marketing Director will lead marketing strategy and execution for the company's portfolio. Reporting to the VP and working closely with the regional President, they will develop and implement strategies for marketing communication, product marketing, and go-to-market efforts to drive growth and profitability. Collaborating with Sales, Training, Clinical Education, and Global teams, they will oversee customer journey activities and ensure market insights are integrated into plans. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to build the marketing team as the business expands.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate a clear marketing communication and product marketing strategy for the region, spanning portfolio, product, pricing, go-to-market, partnership.
- Create and implement customer journeys and business models to lower barriers to entry and drive market penetration, product utilization and connect customers to the vVardis community
- Lead cross-functional team to develop a strong customer journey, with a major focus on product adoption and utilization.
- Help drive commercialization efforts working closely with the NAM leadership teams.
- Lead the development of go to market strategies for different market segments including General Practitioners, Dental Service Organizations and Universities
- Work closely with the Brand and Communication team as your "internal service provider" to develop value propositions, campaigns, web/social content and selling tools
- Lead new product launches within the region.
- Lead and manage voice of customer (VOC) and voice of market (VOM) activities.
- Deeply understand customer needs, pain points, and workflows through direct engagement and data-driven insights. Advocate for the customer at every stage of the product lifecycle, from conception through to market launch and beyond.
- Work closely with upstream product management teams to bring voice of customer and voice of market into the product, solution, workflow vision and roadmaps.
- Utilize data and analytics to build strong product marketing strategies, identify market opportunities, and measure performance.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of marketing initiatives on customer outcomes and business performance and ensure that marketing strategies are continuously refined based on customer value delivery and market dynamics.
- Develop and maintain domain expertise on new technologies and intelligence on market development and competitive landscape
- Drive close collaboration with colleagues in various global subsidiaries to develop country-specific commercialization strategies and share best practices.
Desired Skill Set:
- Dental experience is a must.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in life sciences, engineering or business.
- Minimum 15 years total professional work experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience and proven success in downstream marketing roles
- Experience in upstream marketing is a plus
- Fluent in English; other languages are an asset
- Comfortable with up to 20-30% travel
