About the Role

As a Senior Test Engineer, your expertise will be essential in testing and validating equipment according to critical international standards, including ISO 61557-8, ISO 61243, and ISO 61010. These standards are crucial for ensuring the safety and accuracy of measurement devices and control systems across various applications.
Key Responsibilities
Testing and Evaluation:
- Conduct comprehensive preparation, execution, and documentation of testing and assessments.
- Develop and refine test methods, tools, and setups to meet regulatory, normative, and customer-specific requirements, focusing on ISO 61557-8 for insulation monitoring, ISO 61243 for voltage testing, and ISO 61010 for electrical equipment safety.
- Ensure test results' validity and reliability according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Analyse and interpret measurement results to produce high-quality test reports.
Documentation and Consulting:
- Maintain thorough documentation of test methods and processes.
- Advise customers on order requirements, ensuring compliance with industry-leading standards.
Development and Maintenance:
- Design and develop advanced test equipment and processes.
- Oversee the calibration, verification, and maintenance of complex testing apparatus to ensure compliance with safety and accuracy standards like ISO 61010.
Qualifications
- A technical degree in electrical engineering or a related field, or state-certified technician training.
- Extensive experience in developing, manufacturing, or testing measuring instruments such as oscilloscopes, voltage testers, and insulation monitors, with a deep understanding of ISO 61557-8, ISO 61243, and ISO 61010 requirements.
- Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- A proactive, responsible approach to independent and systematic work.
