Supplier Quality - Group Lead

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of Supplier Quality Engineers dedicated to bolstering the business's supplier management program.
- Recognise and address learning and growth requirements among staff, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional advancement.
- Lead projects associated with supplier quality and departmental objectives, while also spearheading improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance.
- Conduct on-site visits to supplier locations, extracting insights to resolve quality concerns effectively.
- Drive the implementation of necessary changes at supplier sites to achieve compliance.
- Contribute to the selection, endorsement, and continuous oversight of approved suppliers through evaluations of their quality systems, consistent monitoring of performance, and facilitation of corrective actions and enhancements.
- Promote Audit Preparedness for Internal and External Quality System Audits.
- Collaborate extensively with Technical Engineering, R&D, Opperations and Regulatory Affairs to guarantee the seamless and compliant integration of modified or novel products within the site, ensuring adherence to site, Corporate, and cGMP standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Life Sciences
- Be passionate about Medical Devices and quality, with experience in Supplier Quality.
- Have 2 year's minimum in the Medical Devices industry.
- Have management or leadership experience.
- Have internal or external Audit experience.
