Position Overview:
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced commercial leader to take full responsibility of the sales strategy across Europe. This role is critical to their growth as they expand their footprint in the diagnostics market. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and leading a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the European market aligned with the company's overall objectives
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your network and industry insights to expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and strategic partners.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and clinical teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Use data-driven insights to monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making and adjust tactics as needed.
- Provide reports and presentations to c-suite on sales performance, market developments, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the diagnostics or medical device industry.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a complex and competitive environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the European healthcare landscape and regulatory environment.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in biology or a relevant field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred.
