Company Overview: Our client is a global manufacturer of specialty medical products that offers a broad line of medical devices for Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, and Oncology. Their mission is to improve patient outcomes through percutaneous, image-guided procedures.
Position Overview: The Associate Product Manager will support the Product Management team in developing and implementing strategies, promotions, and campaigns that drive sales revenue growth worldwide. This role involves assisting with the management of a product line from developing the commercialization strategy for global markets to planning for the product's end-of-life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans, pricing and selling strategies, and promotional programs.
- Support the creation of product positioning, marketing collateral, and clinical/economic value propositions.
- Help develop effective digital and printed sales tools highlighting key product features and benefits.
- Respond to product-related inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Educate customers on the technical, procedural, and clinical characteristics of assigned product lines.
- Assist in training sales personnel on the technical, business, and clinical aspects of products and procedures.
- Conduct regular field visits to maintain a first-hand understanding of the market, customers, direct sales team, and distributors.
- Analyze and monitor sales data to illustrate product and market performance, as well as conduct competitive market research/analysis.
- Evaluate new business and product opportunities.
- Support the design and implementation of key regional strategies.
- Align business needs with demand planning.
- Identify and groom Key Opinion Leaders as advocates for the company.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 0-2 years of relevant marketing experience in medical devices or a related field.
- Experience assisting in the development and execution of marketing plans.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with colleagues, customers, and industry leaders.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple products and projects simultaneously.
