Medical Analyst, Cardiac Monitoring

About:
As a Medical Analyst, you will join the Patient Safety team of a world-leading medical device organization, as the primary point of escalation within a Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring Center. Acting as an advocate for patients, you will provide real-time medical support and expertise for Monitoring Center Technicians. You will collaborate with Medical Directors and other cross-functional team members to monitor trends, develop trainings, and contribute meaningful insights to ensure and improve patient safety.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide medical guidance and oversight to monitoring center technicians.
- Determine event escalation and review, applying medical expertise and demonstrating sound and timely decision-making.
- Identify and track potential safety signals for monitoring and trend analysis.
- Perform medical reviews and assess safety data from clinical trials, device reports, and patient input.
- Collaborate with Medical Directors, Training, and Medical Safety team members to develop trainings for non-medical Monitoring Center staff.
Qualifications:
- Active license/certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- 5 or more years of clinical experience - strong preference for cardiology-focused settings (EP Lab, Cath Lab, etc.).
- Strong understanding of cardiac patient management and monitoring technologies.
- Ability to work on-site 5 days per week in Houston, TX.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary of $115,000 - $150,000
