In this role, you will be the key medical-scientific expert, supporting groundbreaking technologies and working closely with healthcare professionals, industry experts, and internal teams to shape the future of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary medical-scientific contact for care solutions in Austria and Switzerland.
Develop and implement medical-scientific strategies and programs aligned with clinical evidence and business objectives.
Organize and deliver impactful training sessions, seminars, and congress presentations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and medical societies, with a strong focus on the Swiss market.
Collaborate with regional and global medical affairs teams to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
Adapt and implement key educational materials, research initiatives, and training programs for the local market.
Support clinical research projects, advisory boards, and expert panels to advance diabetes care initiatives.
Oversee the implementation of specialised educational events and professional development programs.
What We're Looking For:
A licensed physician, scientist (PhD), or Doctor of Natural Sciences with relevant industry experience.
Strong clinical expertise in diabetology, with a background in the pharmaceutical or medical technology industry preferred.
Extensive knowledge of diabetes management and a well-established professional network, ideally in Switzerland and/or Austria.
Strategic mindset with a strong understanding of business dynamics and project management.
Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage multiple initiatives, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Strong digital literacy and technical acumen to support innovation in diabetes care.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and matrix organisations.
Fluent in German and English; proficiency in French is an advantage, and Italian is a plus.
