Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and optimization of active medical devices from concept to market maintenance.
- Perform verification and validation of firmware, circuit designs, and hardware to ensure device functionality and adherence to industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams and end-users to deliver safe and effective products.
- Ensure compliance with medical device standards (e.g., IEC 60601, IEC 62304) and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design records, verification and validation protocols, and test reports.
- Stay updated with advancements in electronics, software development, and medical device regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 2 years of industry experience in the design and development of active medical devices.
- Proficiency in embedded system design, including programming in C/C++ or Python.
- Experience with circuit design, PCB layout, and electrical testing tools.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles for medical devices (e.g., IEC 62304).
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and safety standards for active devices (e.g., IEC 60601).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Fluent in English to effectively communicate in an international team environment and with suppliers.
