Job Description:
As a Sales Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic sales and managing complex workflows for our high-profile clients across the oncology and IVD sectors. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the market, the ability to manage long-term relationships with key stakeholders, and the expertise to navigate intricate sales cycles while ensuring tailored, impactful solutions. You will be responsible for fostering deep partnerships with strategic accounts, optimising workflows, and delivering exceptional value, all while driving significant revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for high-value, complex accounts in the oncology and IVD sectors, ensuring that the solutions we offer meet the unique needs of each client.
- Managing Complex Workflows: Navigate and manage complex workflows within large organisations, ensuring seamless implementation and integration of our products and services.
- Solution Customisation: Work closely with clients to understand their multifaceted needs and provide tailored oncology and IVD solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborative Sales Process: Partner with internal teams such as product specialists, marketing, and technical support to coordinate the end-to-end sales process and ensure client satisfaction and the delivery of optimal solutions.
- Market Insight: Provide clients with strategic insights into the oncology and IVD markets, helping them to navigate evolving trends, technologies, and regulations.
- Relationship Building: Build and nurture long-term relationships with C-suite executives, key decision-makers, and influencers within each client organisation.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Accurately forecast sales opportunities and track key performance metrics, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in strategic account management, sales, or business development, with a strong track record of managing complex sales cycles and multi-level workflows.
- Deep understanding of the oncology and IVD markets in Belgium, including regulatory, clinical, and operational considerations.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex client challenges and develop customised solutions.
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple stakeholders, ensure alignment, and drive consensus across internal and external teams.
- A proven record of success in driving revenue growth through effective account management and strategic sales initiatives.
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
